In 2012, driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation within the Bolivian market, Daniel founded Master Blends S.R.L. with the mission of creating new artisanal and natural spirits inspired by Bolivia’s landscapes and biodiversity – products capable of captivating consumers around the world through the uniqueness of their flavors and concepts.
Throughout his career, he has worked alongside some of the world’s most experienced distillers and winemakers and, as CEO of the company, has overseen the creation of many of Bolivia’s most recognized brands. He has also been awarded on multiple occasions for his innovation.
Daniel’s ability to transform business ideas into successful ventures, his instinct for infusing proposals with authentic Bolivian identity, and his capacity to innovate with sophistication and without prejudice are the qualities he brings to both the Bolivian and international markets.
Agricultural Engineer (ESAB) and Master’s Degree in Enology (URV). After several harvest seasons in Priorat, he moved to Bolivia where he co-founded the distillery Master Blends S.R.L. and directed the LAB (Bolivian Food Laboratory)
He later returned to Catalonia, where he launched Espíritu Roca – the distillery of Bodega de Can Roca – and founded Artesana de Licor.
He also works as a consultant for the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and serves as an adjunct professor at Universitat Rovira I Virgili (URV). Additionally, he contributes articles related to food and gastronomy for Elnacional.cat
